Overview

Amaris is a high-end fine jewellery brand with strong offline equity and Bollywood collaborations to its name. With a presence across India's top metros and ambitions to grow into the US and Middle East, the brand needed a digital strategy that could carry the weight of a high-consideration, high-value category, without losing the trust its buyers expect.

Objectives

The brief was to build a full-funnel acquisition engine across three markets that didn't just generate volume but converted the right buyers. Better lead quality, stronger ROAS, a higher average order value, and real new customer growth across India, the US, and the Middle East simultaneously.

Challenges

Fine jewellery isn't an impulse buy. At this price point, people want to see, feel, and speak to someone before they commit. Getting a buyer to complete a high-value purchase online — without that physical experience, is the core problem. Doing it across three markets, each at a different stage of brand familiarity, made it significantly harder.

KEY GROWTH DRIVERS

    Execution Framework

    1. Full-Funnel Architecture Across Three Markets: India ran the deepest funnel, awareness through to retention, across six cities. The US mirrored this for NRI and luxury bridal buyers. The Middle East took a leaner, top-funnel-first approach to build presence before scaling. Each market got a strategy matched to where it actually was, not a copy-paste rollout.

    2. Multi-Platform Deployment: Meta owned the full awareness-to-conversion journey. Google handled high-intent search, PMax, and Demand Gen. Pinterest was added for bridal discovery, where jewellery inspiration directly influences purchase decisions. Each platform had a clear role, and they worked together rather than against each other.

    3. Replicating In-Store Trust, Digitally: "Chat with Stylist" and "Book Appointment" touchpoints were built into the funnel at every stage, not as afterthoughts, but as the primary conversion mechanism. For a category where buyers need to feel looked after before spending big, these touchpoints did the job that a store visit used to do.

    4. Remarketing and Retention: Warm audiences, visitors, cart abandoners, past buyers, were re-engaged with relevant creative before they drifted away. In a high-AOV category, a lost warm lead is an expensive loss. A structured remarketing and retention layer made sure that didn't happen often.

Conclusion

By building a full-funnel strategy tailored to each market's buying psychology and layering high-trust conversion touchpoints like chat with stylist and appointments into a digital funnel. Amaris made meaningful progress converting a traditionally offline, trust-driven category into a scalable online acquisition channel across India, the USA and the Middle East.
