Arabius is an online Arabic language learning platform built for students across the GCC. It connects learners with structured courses and tutors through a simple, seamless booking experience. The platform is designed to make Arabic learning accessible, personal, and effective, whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your fluency.

Goal

The goal was straightforward but demanding: bring down the cost of acquiring a calendar booking, grow booking volume, and build a second acquisition channel from the ground up. Prohed came in with a clear mandate, fix what was broken on Google, launch Meta as a brand new revenue engine, and eventually expand the geographic reach to unlock fresh audiences across the region.

Challenges

When Prohed took over, the issue wasn't the budget, it was the tracking. Since calendar bookings weren't set up as conversion events, the algorithm was flying blind. This lack of data pushed the cost per booking to a stagnant SAR 222. Additionally, the brand hadn't even touched Meta, leaving a massive acquisition channel completely untapped. 

Arabius is building the go-to destination for Arabic language learning in the GCC, combining structured curriculum with easy, frictionless access to qualified tutors. The booking experience sits at the heart of the product, making calendar conversions the single most important metric to optimise for.

The Performance Blueprint

    Strategic Interventions for Scalable Booking Growth

    1. Google Account Restructure: The first thing Prohed did was rebuild the account from the ground up and set calendar booking confirmations as the primary conversion event. Once the algorithm had a real signal to optimise toward, things moved quickly, cost per calendar booking dropped 47%, falling from SAR 222 to SAR 117. When budget was scaled back up in April to push volume, cost held well below the original baseline at SAR 155, and total bookings grew to 170 by end of month.

    2. Meta Channel Launch - Zero to Scale: Meta was built entirely from scratch in February 2026. Prohed set up the full campaign architecture: audience segmentation, creative strategy, and a full-funnel structure built to scale efficiently. The results speak for themselves, spend grew 10x in just three months, going from SAR 2,199 to SAR 22,963, and calendar bookings jumped from 27 to 138. The fact that cost per booking stayed controlled throughout that aggressive ramp is a strong indicator that the foundation was built right from day one.

    3. Geography Expansion: With both platforms performing well, the next move was to expand the geographic targeting beyond the initial footprint. Prohed rolled this out in early May 2026, and early data is already encouraging, daily cost per calendar booking is trending around SAR 100, which would make it the most efficient period since the account was taken over. The scale hypothesis is holding up.

Conclusion

In under 90 days, Prohed took Arabius from a single underperforming Google account, with no proper conversion tracking in place, to a two-platform acquisition engine generating quality calendar bookings at an improving cost. The Google restructure alone cut cost per booking nearly in half. Meta went from zero to a fully scaled channel with booking volume up 411%. And with geography expansion now underway, the results so far suggest there's significantly more headroom to grow. This is what happens when you fix the fundamentals first, then build for scale.
