Objectives

Our goal was to transform Meta into a primary revenue channel by scaling purchase volume, slashing customer acquisition costs, and establishing a measurable, long-term foundation for sustainable growth.

Challenges

Launching without historical audience, creative, or conversion data meant Meta's algorithm had no benchmarks to optimize against. Additionally, we had to cut through a highly saturated, noisy market to capture immediate trust and conversions.

    1. Campaign Restructuring for Conversion: We restructured our campaign entirely, taking spend away from broad awareness and focusing instead on high intent, bottom funnel conversion campaigns. This major architectural change was the biggest contributor to the 71% drop in cost per purchase and 243% increase in Meta-attributed purchases.

    2. Audience Refinement & Smarter Targeting: Generic interest targeting was not congruent with an app that is all about personalisation. We narrowed the audience buckets to astrology seekers, user insights into their spiritual lifestyle and behaviour that indicate high intent, generating more qualified in-clinic clicks and CPC down 24% without losing reach.

    3. Creative Scaling Based on Performance Data: Instead of broad creative campaigns, we found the top performing creatives and messages and scaled those. Scaling is treated with much care, to guarantee ad fatigue stays low and engagement rates remain high throughout the campaign.

    4. Full Funnel Ownership: We built the Meta funnel to own the full path to purchase, leveraging the channels strengths to drive discovery and the conversion power to close the sale. Meta attribution increased 1.5x in terms of share of purse purchases, a clear indication that it was no longer a component channel but a revenue propelling channel. Total ROAS was 2.9x, laying the groundwork for whatever comes next.

Conclusion

SoulDoctor came in with zero campaign history and left with a channel that now owns 66% of total purchases, up from 27% in a single month. A +30% budget increase delivered 213% more purchases and a 71% drop in cost per purchase. For a brand building from nothing in a competitive category, that's not just a performance win, it's proof that the right structure, the right audience, and the right creative can transform Meta from a cost centre into a growth engine.
